All activities must be conducted in a manner which demonstrates reverence to God and respect for His church. These activities shall be under the supervision of the Pastor and/or the Church Wedding Coordinator (including moving of furniture, floral arrangements, special decorations, etc.). The church wedding coordinator will serve as liaison between the church and the wedding party and associated personnel, florist, custodians, musicians, and others involved in the wedding ceremony.
The bride and groom are required to participate in a course of premarital counseling through which the pastor or other church approved/recognized counselor will recommend the couple for marriage at Hillview in accordance with its values, beliefs, and purposes. The following rules apply to all approved marriages:
A $100.00 deposit is required when booked with the balance due one week before the ceremony.
The renter is responsible for cleaning of facilities and damages incurred.
Only individuals approved by the church shall operate the musical instruments and sound system.
Wedding ceremonies, receptions, and related activities will not conflict with scheduled church services or activities.
Alcohol and tobacco are not permitted at anytime. Birdseed can be used only outside the church building (no rice please).
